Introducing the Michael Scott Explanation Series

If you’re like me, sometimes you want a simple explanation to a complex legal question or topic.  The blogosphere is full of articles containing discussions on a variety of legal topics which incorrectly assume that the reader has a grasp of the topic at hand. With this in mind, I am pleased introduce at Left Coast Law the Michael Scott Explanation series.

The inspiration for this series is an episode of the popular TV show, The Office, in which Michael Scott needs to have what to him are complex concepts explained in an elementary way.  Take a look at this clip.

While I am certain that Left Coast Blog readers would not need to resort to shenanigans or even require such an elementary explanations in the first place, it might be useful from time to time to outline any number of rather complex legal topics in a concise manner free of unnecessary legalese and complicated analysis.  I hope this will be a useful and popular series.
